Healing at the Pool of Bethesda / Christ and His Disciples on the Sabbath in the Cornfields

Two Biblical scenes. Above: Christ heals a man who has been ill for thirty-eight years at the pool of Bethesda. Below: Christ walks with his disciples through the cornfields on the Sabbath, and his disciples pick and eat ears of corn. The Pharisees speak to him about this, because they believe that no ears of corn may be picked on the Sabbath. Below the scenes a reference to the Biblical texts and the titles in Dutch and French.
