About this work

Two biblical scenes from Matthew 27 and John 19. Christ is bound to a pillar and scourged, and Christ is shown to the people by Pilate on a podium. Two scenes on one plate, each provided with a title in Dutch and French. Numbered at the bottom right: 34.
