About this work
Two biblical scenes from Esther 6. King Ahasuerus cannot sleep at night and has himself read to by his court, and Haman leads Mordecai on the horse of King Ahasuerus through the city. Two scenes on one plate, each provided with a title in Dutch and French. Numbered at the bottom right: 71.
