About this work

The soldiers of Herod murder all boys of two years and younger in Bethlehem. The mothers try to protect their children. To the right on the platform, Herod gives the order for the massacre (Matt. 2:16). The print has a Hebrew, Latin, French, English, German, and Dutch caption.
