About this work
In the middle, the brazen serpent attached to a pole. To the left of it stands Moses. Around the brazen serpent men, women and children, who have been bitten by poisonous snakes and look up at the brazen serpent to stay alive. On the right rear, the tent camp of the Israelites. Below a reference to Num. 21:6-9 and the title of the print in Hebrew, English, German, Latin, French and Dutch.
