About this work

Pharisees test Christ. They show him a tax coin. However, Christ sees through their evil intent and answers: "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's." Illustration of the biblical text Mat. 22:19. Below the image, the title in Hebrew, English, German, Latin, French, and Dutch.
