Allegorical title page with Peace (Pax), Abundance (Abundantia) and Urbanity carrying Painting to the personification of Rome. Ignorance (Ignorantia), Envy (Invidia) and Superstition (Idolatria) try to stop them. On the right in the foreground Mnemosyne, the goddess of memory, who draws texts from the hands of Father Time. In the sky on a cloud Eternity with a laurel wreath in her hand. In the background a view of Rome. In the margin a nine-line inscription in French.
