About this work
In an interior sits an elegant couple at a table with a violinist singing from a music book. They wear clothing according to the fashion of ca. 1620. The lady wears a gown with bows and a very wide standing collar. On the wall behind the couple hang two paintings. Below the image two columns with Latin text. The print is part of a series of prints about the five senses.
