About this work

The crucified Christ on Golgotha. Under the cross lie Mary and Mary Magdalene. Christ is offered a sponge with sour wine. To the left of the cross, soldiers cast lots for Christ's garment. Below the image, a verse in two columns. Numbered top right: No. 91.
