About this work

The crucified Christ on Golgotha. Under the cross lie Mary and Mary Magdalene. Christ is offered a sponge with sour wine. At the lower left of the cross, soldiers are gambling for Christ's garment. Under the depiction a verse in two columns. Numbered at the upper right: No. 251.
