About this work

Sitting of the House of Commons with King George II on the throne, probably at his accession in 1727. Right the king on the throne opposite the members of the House of Commons and the clerks. All walls covered with tapestries. Above a cartouche with an image titled: The High and Low House of England. On both sides allegorical figures with the arms of England. The explanation of the numbers and letters in the representations is missing.
