The beach and dunes at Huisduinen with in the distance the bodies of the convicted mutineers of the merchant ship named the Nijenburg, hanging from the gallows, September 1764. In the foreground a few fishermen, to the right a small fishing boat, to the left a fire beacon on a dune.
