The beach and dunes at Huisduinen with in the distance the corpses of the condemned mutineers of the merchant ship named the Nijenburg, hanging from the gallows, September 1764. In the foreground, some fishermen, to the right a small fishing boat, to the left a fire beacon on a dune.
