About this work
Eve offers Adam an apple from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. A snake is coiled around a branch of the tree, offering Eve another apple. Around the tree, some animals (cat, dog, frog, parrot, and fox). In the background, the creation of Eve from a rib of the sleeping Adam. The print has a Latin inscription with a dedication.
