About this work
Eve offers Adam an apple from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Around a branch of the tree the serpent is coiled, offering Eve another apple. Around the tree some animals (cat, dog, frog, parrot and fox). In the background the creation of Eve from a rib of the sleeping Adam. The print has a Latin inscription with dedication.
