Minerva (Pallas Athena) as goddess of war with helmet, spear and Medusa head with snake hair on shield. The inscription INSIGNIS GALEA ATOS INSIGNIS GORGON PALAS refers to these characteristic attributes. Copy after a print by Jacopo Giovanni Caraglio.
