About this work
At the top hangs a garland of fruit, suspended from three rings. From a series of 32 sheets. The cartouches are partly derived from the prints of Antonio Fantuzzi after the decoration of the Gallery of Francis I by Giovanni Battista Rosso. The series is also known under the title Petits cartouches de Fontainebleau.
