About this work
In the upper center hangs a laurel wreath with an animal skull, flanked by two children with a cornucopia at their feet. From a series of 32 sheets. The cartouches are partly borrowed from the prints of Antonio Fantuzzi after the decoration of the Gallery of François I by Giovanni Battista Rosso. The series is also known under the title Petits cartouches de Fontainebleau.
