About this work
Under the cartouche lie a man and a woman, each with a child. From a series of 32 sheets. The cartouches are partly derived from the prints of Antonio Fantuzzi after the decoration of the Gallery of Francis I by Giovanni Battista Rosso. The series is also known under the title Petits cartouches de Fontainebleau.
