About this work

A standing woman in a landscape, a hairpin in the hairstyle, a mirror in the hand. Under her open rich jacket her skeleton is visible. At her feet a skull. In the front right stands a flower pot with blooming lilies (life), in the front left a fire pot with dying fire (death). In the background stands the same woman with mirror next to a man who lifts her jacket and looks at the skeleton.
