About this work
A still life of an Uzume mask, a kite with the image of a rearing horse, a half-open gold fan, two wooden sandals and a wooden mallet with strips of paper. Uzume is the goddess of prosperity. The so-called 'horse-slippers' (komageta) are made from one piece of wood and worn by maiko and geisha. With two poems.
