About this work
A framed calligraphy leans against a writing desk on which a stack of books, a painting with bamboo, a pot with peacock feathers and a writing box. Under the table more books, a lacquer box and a flute wrapped in cloth. The calligraphy reads 'Tôjuen' which is the new name of the poet Yôjuen Kamikomaru. With two poems.
