About this work
The father Hasetsukabe taught his sons that they can achieve everything if they just work together. The Continuation of the Chronicles of Japan (Shoku Nihongi) is compiled among others by Fujiwara no Tsugutada (727-796) and Sugano no Mamichi (741-814) in 797. With one poem by Harunoya Naritake: This morning the spring begins and smells of spiced rice wine - three cups are stacked for three beloved children.
