About this work
In the foreground Tobias, riding on a donkey. In his left hand a cross with a banner. On the banner four hot irons, with in the middle the symbol of mercy, a fountain in the shape of a woman. Behind Job follow his wife (with a kid) and Blind Poverty (Caecas Paupertas). The print has a Latin text of six lines on a separate piece of paper and is part of an eight-part series on the Triumph of Patience.
