About this work

The Spanish Gypsy Girl Preciosa and the Old Woman Majombe. Both figures taken from the story 'La Gitanella' by Miguel de Cervantes from 1613, in the Netherlands known as 'The Spanish Gypsy Girl'. Heathen and heatheness were contemporary terms for the Roma people.
