About this work

Album with 78 etchings on 67 album leaves. The depictions have animals, mainly horses and sheep, fodder carriers, pulling carts, and everyday scenes of farmers and military as themes. The prints are based on own designs, with two exceptions, which are based on designs by Philips Wouwerman and Johann Christoph Dietzsch. At least four prints were published by Ferdinand Kettner in Vienna and one by Johann Friedrich Frauenholz in Nuremberg. The prints are pasted onto the album leaves.
