Title page of De Ystroom (1671) by Antonides van der Goes. Allegorical representation with the city maiden of Amsterdam on the left and the Ystroom god leaning on her leg. Behind them Mercury with winged hat and staff. In the background a large throne with pillars in the form of personifications of the four continents. On the top of the throne stands the title 'De Ystroom' and the coat of arms of Amsterdam. In the upper right in the sky the sun god Apollo.
