About this work

Christ and his disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane. Judas kisses Christ on the cheek. The soldiers surround and arrest him. In the foreground, Peter attempts to defend Christ and attacks one of the soldiers. The print has a Latin inscription with a text from the Bible and is the third print of a fourteen-print series on the Passion of Christ.
