About this work

Christ in the clouds. Around him the angels of Dominions, Powers and Virtues. Below Christ several angels defeat various devils and the seven-headed beast of the Apocalypse. Below the clouds the deeds of these angels on earth: to the left Joshua kneels before an angel with a sword, to the right the announcement of the birth of Christ to the shepherds. The print has a Latin inscription and forms part of a series about the different choirs of angels.
