About this work
In the clouds the Holy Spirit as a dove. Around the dove the angels of the lowest order: the guardian angels. Below the dove the archangels kneel. The middle angel holds a palm branch and a laurel crown in his hands. Below the clouds the deeds of these angels on earth: to the left the angels as protectors of children, in the center the archangel Michael as defender of mankind and to the right the angel of Bethesda. The print has a Latin inscription and forms part of a series about the different choirs of angels.
