View of a section of the imperial summer palace in Chengde (Jehol), China. Various buildings along the water's edge. In the background, misty hills. In the 18th century, the emperors of the early Qing dynasty built a mountain refuge surrounded by walls. It was equipped with parks containing lakes, pagodas, and palaces. Title in Chinese in the upper right and lower right.
