About this work
In the upper left corner, a cherub with a fez. Plate from a series of flat decorations with grotesques, cartouches, ovals, mascarons, putti, and fantastic creatures. The series consists of three title pages, two text pages with the dedication and preface, and 60 plates, divided into three books.
