About this work

The putto holds reeds in his hand. Fantastic creatures are located in the corners of the plate. Plate from a series of flat decorations with grotesques, cartouches, ovals, mascarons, putti, and fantastic creatures. The series consists of three title pages, two text pages with the dedication and preface, and 60 plates, divided into three books.
