About this work
A servant kneels before his king and begs him to have patience with him, so that he has some time to pay his debt of ten thousand talents. Two creditors point at the man. The king, sitting behind a table, takes pity and forgives him his debt. Below the depiction a reference in Latin to the Bible text in Matthew 18:23. This print is part of an album.
