About this work

The bad shepherds enter the sheepfold via the roofs and walls, but not through the door. Some of the shepherds steal sheep from the fold. In the background, shepherds are feasting in the inn. On the horizon a wolf approaches a flock, unnoticed by the shepherd. Below the image a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in John 10:1. This print is part of an album.
