About this work
Simeon and Levi take their sister Dinah home after they have taken revenge on Shechem, who had dishonored their sister. In the background the brothers kill Shechem and his men, who were feverish after their circumcision and could not fight back. At the bottom of the margin a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in Gen. 34:25. This print is part of an album.
