About this work
In the foreground the eighth plague that God sent upon Egypt: a plague of locusts. The Pharaoh orders one of his soldiers to kill the locusts. On the left a servant fills a jug with water. In the background on the left the seventh plague of Egypt: hailstones. In the background on the left and right Aaron and Moses summoning the plagues. Below the scene a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in Exodus 9 and 10. This print is part of an album.
