About this work
In the foreground, the eighth plague that God sent upon Egypt: a plague of locusts. The Pharaoh orders one of his soldiers to kill a locust. On the left, a servant fills a jug with water. In the background on the left, the seventh plague of Egypt: hailstones. In the background on the left and right, Aaron and Moses summoning the plagues.
