About this work
Illustration of the twelfth article of faith (eternal life) of the Apostles' Creed. An angel has carried John the Evangelist to a mountain top and shows him the New Jerusalem. John writes everything down in the Book of Revelation. Jerusalem has twelve gates, guarded by twelve angels. The Good Shepherd walks with his lambs towards the gates. God, in the form of the tetragram, and the Holy Spirit appear in the clouds, along with several angels. This print is part of an album.
