About this work

The Jewish people dance and make music around a pillar with the golden calf. In the foreground a feast is being eaten. On a hill to the left Moses breaks the tablets of the law on the ground. Below the image a Latin reference to the biblical text in Ex. 32:1. This print is part of an album.
