About this work
The Jewish people dance and make music around a pillar with the golden calf. In the foreground, a feast is being eaten. On the left on a hill, Moses breaks the tablets of the law on the ground. The print has a Latin inscription and is the fifth print in a six-part series on the history of Moses and the Jewish people in the desert after the Exodus.
