About this work

The Hercules Fountain in the Maximilianstraße (formerly Weinmarkt) in Augsburg. In the basin a structure adorned with shells and nymphs. At the top Hercules slays the monster Geryon. Leaf 105 from part III of a series consisting of 226 leaves, divided into four books, each with its own title page.
