The archangel Raphael commands Tobias to fetch the fish from the river Tigris. Tobias' dog stands by Raphael. In the background, Tobias cuts open the fish to remove the heart, liver, and gall. At the bottom in the margin, a one-line Latin caption from Tobit 6.
