Allegorical Representation with Truth and Falsehood

To the left of the title stands a half-naked woman with book, crown, and palm branch in her hand; she personifies the Unambiguous Truth (Veritas univoca). On the other side stands a woman with a mask and chameleon, as personification of the Ambiguous Lie (Mendacium aequivocum). At the top, a crowned coat of arms between a lion and a unicorn. At the bottom, a cartouche with a hand pulling a fishing net from the water, with the motto Piscatoris rete habet ranas.
