Sheet printed with text on both sides, an engraved initial O and a cartouche depicting the Battle of Höchstädt, near Blenheim, in Bavaria on 13 August 1704. Victory of the allied troops under the Duke of Marlborough and the Prince of Savoy over the French and Bavarian troops. Sheet (pp. 29-30) from the first volume of: Jean du Mont, Military Description of the Battles and Sieges of the Three ... Widely Renowned War Commanders... Prince Eugene of Savoy, the ... Duke of Marlborough, and the Prince of Orange and Nassau-Vriesland, in the 1729 edition. This first volume is dedicated to the deeds of Eugene, Prince of Savoy.
