Abigail kneels before David, offers him the food, and asks him to forgive the behavior of her husband Nabal, who refused to give David food. Behind David stand his comrades. Behind Abigail are her servants with the pack donkeys carrying food. Below the image is a reference in Latin to the biblical text in 1 Samuel 25. This print is part of an album.
