Abigail kneels before David, offers him the food and asks him for forgiveness for the behavior of her husband Nabal, who refused to give David food. Behind David stand his comrades. Behind Abigail her servants with the pack donkeys carrying food. Below the image a Latin reference to the Biblical text in 1 Sam. 25. This print is part of an album.
