Abigail kneels before David, offers him the food, and asks him to forgive her husband Nabal's behavior, who refused to give David food. David's companions stand behind him. Behind Abigail are her servants with the pack donkeys carrying food. Below the scene is a Latin reference to the biblical text in 1 Samuel 25. This print is part of an album.
