About this work

Christ and his bride (the Church) sit in a landscape with grapevines in the foreground. Christ points upward where the Holy Spirit is visible in the form of a dove. In the left background are date palms and a deer. On the right background, a crowd listens to a sermon. Below the image is a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in Song of Solomon 4:1. This print is part of an album.
