About this work

Christ and his bride (the Church) sit in a landscape with grapevines in the foreground. Christ points upwards where the Holy Spirit is visible in the form of a dove. In the background to the left are date palms and a deer. To the right in the background, a crowd listens to a sermon. Below the image is a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Song of Solomon 4:1. This print is part of an album.
